Next Generation Conference

God is sweet as my friend Chris frequently says, and its true. The past 5 days have been amazing. I have been in Chicago at the Next Generation ministry conference and that has been a great experience, but leading up to the conference I have been so blessed to have an overload of experiences that rejuvenated and let my creative juices flow. Last Saturday I went to the Shedd aquarium and saw fish, snakes, and crabs, and dolphins. There were a lot of people there but it was awesome to see so many people engaging God's creation--for me it was a worship moment.

The next day we got up early and drove for about two hours to Granger, IN, to attend Granger Community Church. www.gccwired.com They were starting a new series called pure sex. There is a lot of controversy over this series because the church used a picture of two pairs of feet hanging off a bed intertwined. Suggestive but very tasteful. Then they have only a website listed. www.mylamesexlife.com. I just love it. What a way to engage the culture. Jesus is cool because we can have the strength to handle tough issues like this that most would deem not appropriate for church.
